DAY 1: Bishkek – Burana – Konorchek Canyons – Chon Kemin
Start your journey back in time at Burana Tower, a Silk Road relic with panoramic mountain views. Sip traditional tea brewed in a samovar by the river before hiking the stunning Konorchek Canyons, famous for their towering red rock formations. End the day in Chon Kemin National Park, where you’ll enjoy a homemade dinner and a peaceful stay in a family guesthouse.
DAY 2: Horseback Riding – Bokonbaevo – Eagle Hunting – Yurt Camp
After breakfast, ride through Chon Kemin’s serene trails on horseback—no experience needed. Then head to Bokonbaevo, where you’ll witness a breathtaking eagle hunting show and try your hand at traditional archery. As the sun sets, arrive at your lakeside yurt, enjoy a warm local dinner, and fall asleep under a starry Issyk-Kul sky.
DAY 3: Fairy Tale Canyon – Barskoon Gorge – Jeti Oguz – Karakol
Wander through the magical Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon, where wind-sculpted rocks resemble dragons and castles. Then explore Barskoon Gorge and its cascading waterfalls, followed by a stop at the striking red cliffs of Jeti Oguz, known as the “Seven Bulls.” End the day soaking in natural hot springs and enjoying dinner in Karakol, where you’ll stay in a comfortable hotel.
DAY 4: Karakol – Grigoriev/Semenov Gorges – Cholpon Ata – Bishkek
Explore Karakol’s unique history, visiting the colorful Dungan Mosque, Russian Orthodox Church, and bustling market. Continue to the scenic Grigoriev and Semenov Gorges for a riverside lunch surrounded by untouched nature. In Cholpon Ata, cruise across Issyk-Kul’s crystal waters, visit the Ruh Ordo Cultural Center, and see ancient petroglyphs before heading back to Bishkek — with your heart full of memories.
