What to expect
• DAY 1 Bishkek – Ala Archa – Burana Tower – Chon Kemin
Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up and a drive to Ala Archa National Park, where snowy forests and frozen rivers create a perfect winter atmosphere. Enjoy an easy walk and feed friendly squirrels and birds — a simple but joyful winter moment.
Next, visit the historic Burana Tower from the 9th century. Climb to the top for panoramic snow-covered views, explore the museum, and walk among ancient stone figures carved by nomads centuries ago.
In the afternoon, continue to Chon Kemin National Park. Settle into a cozy family guesthouse with warm rooms and hot showers, enjoy a homemade dinner, and rest in the peaceful winter valley.
• DAY 2 Horse Riding – Kok Moynok Canyons – Eagle Hunting Show
Start the morning with a 2–3 hour winter horse ride or a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride — both offering beautiful views of the snowy Chon Kemin Valley.
After lunch, continue to Kok Moynok Canyons for an easy walk through uniquely shaped, colorful winter landscapes.
In Bokonbaevo, enjoy a private eagle hunting show — a powerful demonstration of ancient nomadic skills. You’ll have time for photos and a short archery session.
By evening, arrive at your lakeside yurt camp. Enjoy a warm dinner and spend the night in your private heated yurt under the quiet winter sky.
• DAY 3 Bokonbaevo – Skazka Canyon – Barskoon Waterfall – Bishkek
After breakfast, explore Skazka Canyon, a winter fairy-tale of red rocks and snowy valleys.
Continue to Barskoon Gorge to visit a beautiful frozen waterfall — one of the highlights of the trip.
Enjoy lunch on the way back and return to Bishkek in the evening with unforgettable winter memories.
