What to Expect
• DAY 1 — Burana Tower • Konorchek Canyon • Yurt Stay
Your guide picks you up at 9:00 AM and you begin your winter journey toward Issyk-Kul. Along the way, enjoy snowy mountains and peaceful landscapes while your guide explains the day’s plan.
Burana TowerExplore Silk Road history, climb the ancient minaret for stunning views, visit the museum, and walk among the historic stone balbals.
Boom Gorge Tea StopEnjoy hot samovar tea, fresh kattama bread, and snacks — a perfect warm-up before your canyon hike.
Konorchek CanyonTake a guided 2–3 hour winter hike through red rock formations beautifully contrasted with snow. Your guide leads you to a panoramic viewpoint for photos and rest.

• DAY 2 — Horse Riding • Skazka Canyon • Barskoon Gorge
Start with a warm breakfast before beginning your winter activities.
Horse Riding by the Lake (optional) A 2-hour gentle ride along the snowy shoreline, suitable for all levels, with magical winter views.
Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon. Walk through colorful rock formations shaped like towers, walls, and animals. Winter snow adds even more charm to this easy 1-hour walk.
Barskoon Gorge & Frozen Waterfall. Take a short winter walk to one of the region’s most spectacular frozen waterfalls, surrounded by tall spruce trees and icy cliffs.
Optional Hot Springs If road and weather conditions allow, enjoy a relaxing dip in natural hot mineral water — the perfect winter treat.
After lunch on the road, you’ll drive back to Bishkek, arriving in the early evening.
